Interested in receiving services from IRC NJ?
Review the information below to see if you may be eligible to apply for services. The International Rescue Committee in New Jersey (IRC NJ) is a designated service provider through the New Jersey Office for Refugees and the Office of Refugee Resettlement of the United States government to provide Refugee Cash Assistance and Refugee Support Services.
To apply for IRC services:
Have a qualifying immigration status, including Refugees, Asylees, Cuban & Haitian Entrants, Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) Holders, and Survivors of Trafficking (click on each one of these to find more information about each status).
Schedule an intake appointment for an eligibility and needs assessment
PLEASE NOTE: If you are currently actively receiving services from IRC, please contact the IRC staff member working with you directly for any questions related to your program, or to be referred for additional services.
If you believe that you are eligible for IRC NJ services:
If you are unable to book an appointment online, if you are going to be late for a scheduled appointment,
or if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please text 862-754-5762 via WhatsApp or SMS to inform us.

during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm.

The IRC office is located at 208 Commerce Place, 4th Floor, Elizabeth, NJ 07201 in Union county. If you would like to receive services closer to your home, find your local Refugee Resettlement Agency.
